Q. What documents do you need to purchase a vehicle from Islas Auto Sales?

A. You will need a Driver's License, proof of address, work information,and will also need to complete a credit application. The Credit Application is for our use only. We do not at this time run a credit check on our buyer's. No credit, No Problem.

Q. Who does the financing for Islas Auto Sales?

A. All of our vehicles are financed In-house by us, Buy here, Pay Here. If however you would like to get a bank loan through your financial institution that is okay with us as well.

Q. Are there any warranties on the vehicles sold at Islas Auto Sales? 

A. All of our vehicles are sold AS-IS this means it is you, the buyers responsibility to make sure you have checked the vehicle before purchase. All sales are final and repairs necessary after sale are the sole responsibility of the buyer. However we encourage our customers to test a vehicle extensively before purchase.

Q. How can I be sure I am getting a good vehicle?

A. Be a smart shopper! Take your time inspecting the vehicle, make sure you check all aspects of the vehicle before purchase so that there are no surprises later. Also if you know a mechanic ask them to come with you and test the vehicle, if you don't know a mechanic we will allow you to take the vehicle to be checked. We will need to know where it is being taken and  how long you will be gone.

Q. Does Islas Auto Sales pay the sales tax for vehicles purchased there?

A. No we do not pay your sales tax. The sales tax on your vehicle will vary by your purchase price. To get an estimate of your tax you can multiply your purchase price by .08%. This is something to keep in mind while looking for your vehicle. Plan to have enough money saved to pay for your down payment, get insurance, your tag's, and pay your sales tax.
